Cookie policy

Draft of 22 October 2026

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We use as few as we can. Only necessary cookies are set without asking; everything else waits for your consent. You can change your choice at any time through "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

Necessary (always on)

These make the site work and cannot be switched off.

  • NEXT_LOCALE: remembers your language. 1 year.
  • jm_consent: remembers your cookie choice and which version of this policy it was given for. 12 months.
  • better-auth.session_token (with the __Secure- prefix on our site): keeps you signed in. Set only when you sign in. 7 days.

Analytics

We count visits with Umami, which runs on our own server. It sets no cookies, stores no IP addresses and shares nothing with anyone, so it runs without asking.

Nothing in this category sets cookies at the moment. If we add a tool that does, it will be listed here and will run only with your consent.

Marketing

Only with your consent. They tell us which ads bring people who book, so we can spend less on ads that don't work.

  • jm_attribution (ours): remembers which ad or link brought you (utm parameters, fbclid, gclid) until you book. 30 days.
  • _fbp, _fbc (Meta Platforms Ireland): measure Facebook and Instagram ads. 90 days.
  • _gcl_au (Google Ireland): measures Google ads. 90 days.

Meta and Google may process this data for their own purposes as well; see their privacy policies.

Pages of other providers

Payment runs on Stripe's page and sign-in with Google on Google's page. Those pages set their own cookies, covered by Stripe's and Google's policies.
